Black Bear Deck & Fence builds composite and wood decks, cedar and vinyl fences and gates, railings, stairs, patio covers and porch roofs for homeowners in Everett, across Snohomish County and into King County.
The company started in 2023 as B&M Modern Works and became Black Bear Deck & Fence in 2026. Same owner, same Washington business registration, same way of working: the owner comes out himself, listens, brings samples, and writes one clear price that spells out materials and labor.
Then the crew builds it, start to finish, keeps the site clean and keeps you posted. Most decks are done in one to two weeks. When it's finished, we walk it with you.
We build for the Northwest's two constants, wet winters and great summers: pressure-treated framing, posts in concrete, low-maintenance composite, and covers that let you use the deck when it's pouring.
